Comprehensive School Reform
A federally funded school reform initiative that offers schools and districts the opportunity to implement schoolwide research-based reform strategies to increase students' achievement.
High Priority Schools
Assists the lowest performing schools, schools in deciles 1 to 5 according to statewide 2000 Academic Performance Index (API), to increase students' achievement.
II/USP
Guidance and resources for the Immediate Intervention/Underperforming Schools Program (II/USP) that provides funds to selected schools.
Program Improvement
All schools and local educational agencies (LEAs) that do not make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) are identified for PI under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
Quality Education Investment Act (QEIA) of 2006
Assists the lowest performing schools, schools with a valid 2005 Academic Performance Index (API) that are ranked in deciles 1 to 2, to increase student achievement.
State-Monitored Schools
Immediate Intervention/Underperforming Schools Program (II/USP) and High Priority School Grant Program (HPSGP) schools that fail to make growth become state-monitored.
Statewide System of School Support (S4)
Technical assistance for local educational agencies (LEAs) identified as Program Improvement (PI) under Title I of NCLB and LEAs with Title I schools, including those identified as PI.
Virtual Library
Support and resources for districts with high-priority (low-performing) schools.
