Criteria and Standards for Fiscal Solvency

The Criteria and Standards are used to monitor fiscal solvency for school districts and county offices of education.

Pursuant to Education Code Section 33127, the Criteria and Standards are to be used in monitoring the fiscal stability of local educational agencies. In addition, the Criteria and Standards were developed to be used by local educational agencies in the development of annual budgets and the management of expenditures.
