Syndication (RSS) is a Web content syndication
format. RSS is a popular means of sharing content (such as news
headlines) without requiring you to constantly visit a Web site
to see what's new. RSS feeds contain headlines and hyperlinks
to longer articles or Web pages.
How do I receive RSS feeds?
"RSS reader" software is required to receive RSS feeds.
You can search the Internet for "RSS reader" software
or use one of the products listed on our free
downloads page under "RSS Readers and News Aggregators." Also, many recent Web browsers have built-in functionality to subscribe to RSS feeds.
