The Clearinghouse for Multilingual Documents (CMD) e-mail list is used to communicate information about the CMD, such as new features and system changes. The CMD e-mail list is also a moderated discussion where members can ask questions and post information about current document translation issues.
Guidelines for using the CMD e-mail list
- The CMD e-mail list is intended to be a conduit for discussions related to CMD and document translation issues. Only messages that are relevant to the document translation issues and of interest to CMD e-mail list members will be released to all the members of the list.
- Submissions to the list must contain the submitter's name, LEA name, and contact information.
- Messages and attachments are limited to one MB. Certain file types are not allowed (e.g., executable, zipped, command, etc.) as e-mail attachments.
- When posing a question to the list, e-mail messages should request that responses be sent directly to the submitter of the question. When the question is answered, the questioner may post a summary of the answer(s) to the list.
- Parties submitting messages to the CMD e-mail list are solely responsible for the content of their postings.
- Only CMD e-mail list members can post messages.
- Commercial advertisements or solicitations are not allowed.
