This Management Bulletin provides information regarding two food products that have been produced and distributed as Child Nutrition (CN) labeled products without final approval from the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS).
The products are:
- School House Char-Broiled Beef Patties, CN number 041122, manufactured by Redi-Serve Foods, and
- John's Beef Taco in a Crust, CN number 054508, manufactured by Mauro Brand Products.
FNS cannot assure the accuracy of the CN label statements for these products, and they do not carry the FNS warranty.
The FNS will not issue the above CN numbers for use on any product. If the above products are submitted for approval in the future, FNS will assign new CN identification numbers.
