Partnering for Healthy Students: Throughout the school day and in after school programs.
The CDE is hosting the Spring 2008 SHAPE California workshop series in collaboration with the California Department of Public Health, Network for a Healthy California.
The purpose of these workshops is to identify how local School Nutrition Programs can partner with After School Programs to strengthen nutrition education, food security, and physical activity in both the regular and after school setting.
Locations and Dates
The workshops are offered in the following nine locations statewide from April 22, 2008 through May 30, 2008:
