Dear Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools, Auditor, and Treasurer:

NOTICE OF THE APPORTIONMENT FOR SPECIALIZED SECONDARY PROGRAMS
OPERATED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY
FISCAL YEAR 2007-08

This apportionment, in the amount of $1,500,000, is made from funds appropriated in Item 6110-122-0001 of the Budget Act of 2007 (Chapter 171, Statutes of 2007) in support of the Los Angeles County Office of Education High School for the Arts, and Long Beach Unified School District’s California Academy of Math and Science. These schools operate exemplary specialized secondary education programs in technology and the visual and performing arts in conjunction with the California State University and in accordance with the provisions of California Education Code sections 58801.6 and 58804.

A warrant will be mailed to the Los Angeles County Treasurer approximately four weeks from the date of this Notice. For standardized account code structure coding, use Resource Code 7370, Supplementary Programs: Specialized Secondary, and Revenue Object Code 8590, All Other State Revenue. The Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools is requested to inform local educational agencies of all pertinent data regarding this apportionment.
