Update
Due to technical problems, the final apportionment of AB1802, the one-time appropriation to purchase supplemental instructional materials for English Learners, will not be disbursed until the summer of 2008.

- Charter Schools:
Direct funded charter schools can apply for AB 1802 funding per Education Code Section 47634.4. A charter school that elects to receive its funding directly may apply individually for state categorical programs.
Charter schools that are locally funded can participate via their local school district and/or local county office of education. Students enrolled in these charter schools need to be included in the LEA application.

- List of Certified Supplemental Materials for English learners
This list of certified materials for English learners was created as part of the provisional language of AB 1802. The list contains the publisher's name and their contact information, title of programs, ISBN/order numbers, grade levels associated with each program, and domains and proficiency levels.
- LEAs may purchase any materials from the list of certified materials. LEAs are no longer required to purchase what they requested on the Intent to Purchase form. LEAs do not have to report any changes to CDE.
Directions: Select the alphabetical grouping associated with the publisher's name. You will be directed to an Excel document listing their AB 1802 certified supplemental materials.

| June 30, 2009 | Deadline for districts/COE to encumber AB 1802 funding |
