  1. Revision of the Physical Education Framework for California Public Schools

    The Physical Education Curriculum Framework and Criteria Committee will review, discuss, and edit the following draft sections of the revised framework:
  • Introduction
  • Chapter 1: Vision and Goals for Standards-Based Physical Education
  • Chapter 2: Model Content Standards for Kindergarten through Grade Five
  • Chapter 3: Model Content Standards for Grades Six through Eight
  • Chapter 4: Model Content Standards for High School
  • Chapter 5: Assessment
  • Chapter 6: Instruction
  • Chapter 7: Universal Access
  • Chapter 8: Support
  • Chapter 9: Instructional Resources
  • Appendix
  • Glossary
  1. Public Comment

    At a minimum, there will be an opportunity for Public Comment on the work of the Physical Education Curriculum Framework and Criteria Committee the last fifteen minutes of each meeting day.
The Order of Business May Be Changed Without Notice

The timing and order of activities may change. The Physical Education Curriculum Framework and Criteria Committee (CFCC) will commence, recess, and reconvene as necessary throughout the two-day meeting. The outline of activities is provided for convenience only. The actual order of business may be changed without notice by the CFCC chair to accommodate the needs of members, invited presenters, and key staff.
