In 2005-06, Rancho-Starbuck Intermediate School had a shortfall of 220 minutes for students in grades 7-8 in the 2005-06 fiscal year, the first year of the required make-up.

The district also requests a waiver of EC 46200(c) the requirement than a school provide a minimum of 180 school days for Washington Elementary School grades 4-5 (2 days short).
